Every age group has two or three calls that cause sideline confusion — the build-out line, when heading becomes legal, why there's no offside at 4v4. Each card answers those in a sentence, so a volunteer coach can explain it correctly without a rule book.
The cards are based on U.S. Soccer's Player Development Initiatives, which is the framework Michigan leagues build on. Leagues do adapt the specifics — game length and restart rules in particular — so check your league's own rules before you correct a referee.
