MYSL is the main sub-MSPSP competitive league for metro Detroit, with divisions running Premier → Major Blue → Major Gold → Red → White → Green. Many clubs field MSPSP teams at stronger levels and MYSL teams for younger or developing sides. Alongside it sit WSSL (western suburbs), CASL (Lansing), Grand Valley SA (west Michigan), and other regional leagues.
Calendars avoid the relevant MHSAA season at high-school ages.
