The Director's Academy is Michigan's development league for U11–U12, restricted to clubs meeting application standards. It emphasizes coaching education and development over standings and is the natural feeder into MSPSP at U13. Don't confuse it with the defunct U.S. Soccer Development Academy — different thing entirely.
